Hometown: Los Angeles, CA Medical School: Western University Why I Chose UCI/CHOC: I chose UCI-CHOC because the program offers a wide range of learning opportunities by allowing us to train at free-standing children's hospitals (CHOC and Miller Children's) and academic medical centers (UCI Health). We serve a diverse patient population, which has always been important to me. It's also an ideal place to train with so much to do in sunny California (Disneyland, beaches, so many delicious restaurants) and a perfect place to raise my family. Areas Of Interest: Advocacy, Child Abuse & Neglect, Neonatology Hobbies: Running, baking, DIY projects, finding new brunch spots Fun Facts: Before starting medical school, I worked for non-profit organizations to help care for children who had been abused, neglected and abandoned. This is where my passion for advocacy and mentorship began. |
